I enjoy the makgeolli smoothies served at Wara Wara. Any ideas on how to make them? After a few tries I am realizing that I don’t seems to come up with the same thing they serve. Mine tend to be very gassy. Cheers and nice page.
I did experiment with coconut and pineapple, like a pina colada. When I opened the bottle to try it after letting the mixture stand overnight, the bottle top blew off as I was opening it and a column of pina colada makkeoli shot up to the ceiling. I was wearing only boxers and was showered in bits of pineapple. It tasted okay but after the shower there wasn’t much left.
